The Start2Save Prize Wheel Spins all year for Great Prizes

It’s never too early to start saving, and there’s no better way for kids to begin their financial journey than with a strong savings program. At The First Bank of Greenwich, we make saving fun for kids with our Start2Save program. Launched at Cos Cob Elementary School January 2012, Start2Save is a program designed to encourage young children to save money while raising funds for their Elementary School PTA’s*. The bank will increase the child’s initial deposit by making a one-time $5.00 deposit and donating an additional $5.00 to that child’s school PTA if they are a participant.

How it Works

Every child who visits the Bank is eligible to spin our prize wheel, made possible by the generous support of our participating Start2Save Merchants: Ann’s Hobby Shop, Cardillo’s Deli Plus, Caren’s Cos Cobber, Chicken Joe’s, Corbo’s Corner Deli, The Drawing Room, The Fitness Edge Club, Joey B’s Famous Chili Hub, Party Paper & Things, Pizza Post, Pomodoro Trattoria, Salon 221, Sam’s Bar & Grill, Stamford Restaurant & Pizzeria, Sweet Lisa’s, The Little Pub, Upper Crust Bagel Cafe & Zody’s 19th Hole Restaurant.

The Fun Continues Every Time Kids Come to the Bank

Each time our young account holders visit The First Bank of Greenwich, they will use a special Kids’ Teller Window, to deposit their coins in our cool counting machine & enjoy a fresh baked cookie. Overall, this a great way to create a new generation of responsible youth who will continue making smart saving decisions well into adulthood while supporting the hard work of our local PTA’s.
