Inspired by yoga, meditation and a childhood surrounded by Greenwich’s natural offerings, Haggerty-Cottle’s artwork emits a deep, spiritual connection to the natural world. We are excited to showcase her work and give our customers the opportunity to meet this talented artist.

Oct 4, 2012 (Greenwich,CT) — Greenwich 2012 Food + Wine Festival

Join us at the Greenwich 2012 Food + Wine Festival, Thursday, October 4 – Saturday, October 6.

Greenwich 2012 FOOD+WINE FESTIVAL boast incredible local culinary experts from both Westchester and Fairfield Counties including James Beard award-winning chefs. The festival weekend will offer grand, savory tastings and intriguing demonstrations from more than 80 exclusive food, wine and spirit vendors. Guests will also enjoy samplings from BBQ Pit Masters, a Beer Garden, celebrity book signings, live music and views of the Long Island Sound. There will also be a Festival VIP Tent where VIP ticketholders will have access to a private lounge, specialty treats and spirits, as well as private restrooms. Private event tents will house Celebrity Chef and Featured Chef cooking demonstrations, an Amateur Cook-Off, and wine sommelier presentations.

Aug 20, 2012 (Cos Cob,CT) — Alex’s Lemonade Stand at The First Bank of Greenwich

Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation (ALSF) emerged from the front yard lemonade stand of cancer patient Alexandra “Alex” Scott (1996-2004). In 2000, 4-year-old Alex announced that she wanted to hold a lemonade stand to raise money to help find a cure for all children with cancer. Since Alex held that first stand, the Foundation bearing her name has evolved into a national fundraising movement, complete with thousands of supporters across the country carrying on her legacy of hope.


Aug 5, 2012 (Greenwich,CT) — 4th Annual Greenwich Block Party

Come join us for the 4th Annual Greenwich Block Party, sponsored by the Greenwich Police Silver Shield Association in partnership with the First Bank of Greenwich. The event will feature live music as lower Greenwich Avenue is transformed into a vehicle-free pedestrian walkway. All local restaurants and businesses will be open.

New this year is the “kid’s corner,” running the entire length of Fawcett Place. Entertainment will include magicians, face painting, pony rides and a three-story water slide.

All proceeds from the event will benefit the Town of Greenwich Parks and Recreation Camp Scholarship Fund. A donation of $10 is asked from all adult attendees. For more information, contact Lt. Tom Keegan at 203-869-9519.
